We're Here For You
Pre-published or published writers of any romance genre from any geographical area are invited to join NJRW. We welcome individuals with a serious interest in improving their writing skills or marketability, meeting other writers, editors, and agents, or becoming part of our impressive networking system. To find out more about us, prospective members are welcome to attend two of our meetings at no charge. Let us know you are a guest, and we’ll answer all your questions.

JeRoWriMo
JeRoWriMo (Jersey Romance Writing Month) is a fun challenge held every February to encourage writing, creativity and camaraderie among our members. Members are challenged to write 30,000 words in 28 days. Cheerleaders spur everyone on each day, and every word written is celebrated, whether or not the member finishes the challenge. At the end of the month, the finishers receive a prize and a pin, and everyone gets to celebrate a chance to get more words on the paper!

Membership Dues and Requirements
NJRW dues are $35 for the calendar year of 2026. Students (at an accredited institution) receive a 60% discount ($21). Members must be over 18 years of age and interested in the serious pursuit of a career in writing romance.
